Hirateppachi chu-arare Tetsubin kettle by Kunzan 1.4L
Crafted by the third generation traditional craftsman Kunzan, Mr. Sasaki Kazuo and his team. He is known for his
mastery of traditional techniques coupled with imaginative new innovations, this impressive squat kettle with its pattern of raised bumps has an elaborate knob
gracing the lid.
This kettle has been specially treated by steam baking for 30-40
minutes, an oxidisation process which improves its rust proof qualities.
Despite this, care should always be taken to empty the kettle thoroughly
after each use.
The handle is fixed and cannot be folded down.
