Kairagi teapot by Mukuhara Kashun (small) #46
Thickly glazed in the kairagi style, this small teapot is the ideal size for gyokuro and high quality sencha green tea. The "kairagi"pattern, so named because it was thought to resemble the sharkskin used for the handles of Samurai swords, provides a perfect contrast between the smoothness of the glaze and the textured clay beneath.
Comes in a paper gift box.
