Kinuta Seiji yunomi cup from Shinemon kiln
This cup was named after Kinuta celadon, the color of which was highly cherished by General Ashikaga Yoshimasa in the 15th century. This is also one of the most loved colors of Shinemon II. The lumimous blue color was achieved in the pursuit of reproducing the color of jade. As celadon is such a subtle shade, it is very difficult to reproduce in photographs.
